This article provides information regarding support options available for Linux laptops, desktops, and servers being utilized by Faculty and Staff on USNH campuses. It outlines what kind of support is available as well as where to go to request assistance.  

 

Linux Support Options

Desktop & Laptop Support

Linux laptop and desktop support are available through the ET&S Desktop team, in coordination with the Research Computing Center. Our desktop technicians provide comprehensive assistance with operating system issues, software installation, hardware troubleshooting, and security configurations for limited special environments.

For assistance, submit a Computer and Device Support request.

 

Servers & Grant Support

The Research Computing team offers specialized services for research technology needs, including Linux server administration and maintenance, research infrastructure quotations for grant proposals, technical consultation for computational projects, and data storage solutions.

For assistance, submit a Research Computing Center (RCC Support) request.

 

Self-Service Assistance
