This article will provide step by step instructions for a student when a request is made to review close captions for a video

Student will attempt to turn the services around as soon as they can, due to their varied schedule this could take 48+ hours.

  1. Ticket is received in the Shared Student Queue
  2. A request will be made to one of the Kaltura admins to add the student team to the video.  (Doug Keene, Erika Rydberg)
    1. Once the team has been added, students will have access to the video for edit caption purposes
  3. Ticket will be assigned to a TLT Student.
  4. Students will work on the video, if they are unable to complete the captions during their shift they will complete as much as possible and before leaving update the ticket to where they left off with a time stamp.
    1. The ticket will be assigned to another student to complete the video.  If student 2 is unable to complete they will update the ticket with a time stamp
  5. Once the video is completed:
    1.  Update the title of the video with a (CC) at the end as a visual representation that the video has been completed
    2.  Update the % accuracy to 100%
  6. Student will reach out to the requestor stating the captions have been completed and to provide any needed feedback.
