Websites: Requesting an Account

Summary

Website accounts are required to access websites hosted in either the Drupal or static HTML environments. You can request an account through the AMS: Accounts Management System

For UNH/USNH faculty, staff, and students

Requesting a website account for yourself

Task: To request a website account for yourself

Step 1 - Go to the AMS: Accounts Management System

Step 2 - Select "Login to Begin"  - SSO login

Step 3 - Click the "Add/Edit Access for Existing User" button.

Step 4 - Check this request is for myself

Step 5 - Check  "Website Access," then click "Next"

Step 6 - Fill in the name of the department you are requesting access for and the website URL.

Step 7 - Submit  Request

 

Outcome

You have successfully requested a website account for yourself.

Request a website account for an employee, student, or sponsored user

Task: To request a website account for an employee

Step 1 - Go to the AMS:  Accounts Management System

Step 2 - Select LOGIN TO BEGIN button - the system is SSO 

Step 3 - click the "+ Add/Edit Access for Existing User" block, check "someone else."

Step 4 - Use the User Lookup (enter username or USNH ID Number), click Find User Info.  If user is found, name, and required fields will be completed. If not, enter employee info.

Step 4 - Check  "Website Access".  Click "Next".

Step 4 - Fill in the name of the department you are requesting access for and the website URL. 

Step 5 - Submit Request

 

Outcome

You have successfully requested a website user account for an employee, student, or sponsored user.
