PSU, UNH, USNH - Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Navigating SFMC from an Email Link

Summary

This article will discuss accessing a communication using a link from an Approval alert email that was generated by SFMC.

How-To

Task: To access SFMC from a link contained within an email.

By default when accessing SFMC from a link contained within an Approval email generated from the application, the link will take the user to the Approvals area. The user will need to then need to Navigate to the Email Studio area of the application in order to gain additional functionality such as the ability to send the email that was just approved. 

 

Instructions

Step 1 - The user receives an email stating that the content has been approved.

Step 2 - The user clicks on the link within the email.

 

Step 3 - The user is navigated to the Approval area.

Step 4 - The user needs to click on the Home (Blue Icon) in the upper left of the screen.

Step 5 - This will navigate them back to the main landing page where they can then click Email Studio -> Email

Step 6 - Once the user is back in the Email area they will be able to locate their content from either the Overview or Content page.

TIP: The Content page has a Search option.

Step 7 - Once the user has located the email, they will then have the ability to Select Send from the upper right area within the Content to start the Send process.

 

Outcome

You have complete access to the SFMC.
