Why are the speech-to-text transcripts for my UNH AVST voicemail going into my Junk email folder?

Summary

This article shows to how receive UNH AVST voicemail transcriptions in your inbox instead of your Junk Mail folder. AVST transcriptions are handled by a 3rd party and come to your account via a separate email. Some users are reporting they are seeing these emails in their Junk Mail folder.

 

How-To

Task: To receive these voicemail transcription emails in your Inbox instead of Junk Mail

 

Instructions

Step 1Find one of the transcription messages in your Junk Mail folder - the sender will be transcription@avst.emailgateway.voicebase.com

Step 2Right click on the message and  scroll down to Junk

Step 3Choose "Never Block Sender"

Step 4 - You will see a pop-up box saying that this sender will be added to your "Safe Senders List"

Step 5 - Click OK

Step 6 - All future transcript emails will be delivered to your Inbox.

 

Outcome

You should be able to receive transcription emails in your Inbox rather than Junk Mail.
