Summary

The Parker Media Lab is a recording space consisting of a Whisper Room for recording audio and additional space with a green screen and lightboard. The space is managed and supported by members of UNH Online and Continuing Education and available to any Faculty, Students, and Staff wishing to improve the quality of their media.

Green Screen Recording

Green Screens allow you to record yourself or a group and replace the background with static images or videos much like your favorite weather personality appears in front of various forecasts. The PML has an entire wall painted chroma green so you can record lectures, presentations, etc with the power point behind you, or a series of backgrounds for a professional looking recording. We even include a setting where you can record the raw green screen footage so you can place yourself wherever you like in a video editing tool of your choice.

Lightboard Recording

The lightboard allows you to record presentations where you can draw on glass in front of you and is helpful for diagramming, math equations, or drawing in real time. We have even included settings which allow you to draw right on your powerpoint presentation as part of your presentation.

Whisper Room

The whisper room, located within the PML is a sound recording booth which can be completely closed off from the room. A good quality USB mic is included in the space that you can plug into your laptop and to audio recording in your tool of choice.
