Reviewing Report Usage Before Deleting Reports
Note: Only the owner of a report can delete the report. Reports must be deleted one by one.
Before you begin, consider if each report is available to be deleted or if you need to consult with others first.
Factors to review
- Visibility – Is this report visible to only the Owner (you) or to other people or groups? You can click on the Details link to view the Report Details and see which groups or people have visibility to that report. You may want to coordinate with them before deleting the report.

- Last Run Date – Has the report been used recently? If a report is only used occasionally, consider reflecting that in the title, like "Quarterly" or "Annual", to indicate that it is needed even if it has not been run in the past few months.

- Dashboard Report – Reports used only on a TDx Desktop/Dashboard may not show an accurate Run Date. Dashboard refreshes do not register as the report being "run". So if the report is used on dashboards, coordinate with those technicians before deleting the report. Note: There is no way to tell from the report itself whether it is used on dashboards.
- Delivery Schedule – Does the report have a delivery schedule where it is run automatically and delivered to certain users? If so, you may need to coordinate with those people before deleting the report. You can see the delivery schedule at the bottom of the Report Details page from the Details link.
