Outlook: Changing the Time Zone in Outlook on the Web

Summary

This article has instructions for how to set the display time zone for your USNH email in Outlook on the Web as well as ensure your meeting hours time zone is set correctly for other users scheduling meetings with you.

If another user reports getting an error about your time zone when trying to schedule meetings with you, or if the time zone default when you open a Bookings link is not correct, try updating your time zone in Outlook on the web and ensuring your meeting hours time zone is updated accordingly.

Task: Changing Your Display Time Zone and Meeting Hours Time Zone in Outlook on the Web

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Sign in to Outlook on the Web . For detailed instructions, see Outlook: Accessing your USNH Email in a Web Browser

Step 2 - Click on the gear icon (Settings) located at the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3 - In the left navigation pane, click on Calendar, then select View.

Step 4 - In the Time zones section, select your desired time zone from the drop-down menu and click Save at the bottom of the Settings section.

Step 5 - If prompted with a warning about "meeting hours", make sure to update your meeting hours time zone by clicking Yes, update in the box that appears below the time zone drop-down:

Step 6 - Close the Settings section.

 

Outcome

You are able to set the Display Time Zone and Meeting Hours Time Zone for your USNH Email.
