EAB Navigate360: Student Profile Agent

Summary

Student Profile Agent is a new AI feature that gives staff and faculty the ability to ask questions about their students and can be used to prepare for appointments, synthesize key student information, or gain updates about a student. Student Profile Agent summarizes key data points about the student with data accessible in V3 reports.

How-To

Task: Student Profile Agent is available in the Options menu of the Student Profile.

To use Student Profile, staff and faculty must have the Student Profile Agent permission to access the agent. To access information about the student, the users must have access to V3 reports that correspond to the data the user can access on the Student Profile. To have access to conversations data in the agent (optional), the user also needs access to the Conversations tab on the Student profile.

Instructions

Step 1 - Access Student Profile Agent by opening a Student Profile on any tab, and navigating to Options >> Open Student Profile Agent.

Step 2 -   The Student Profile Agent opens.

Step 3 -  As with other Navigate360 AI features, the user then asks the Student Profile Agent a question. Some examples are listed below. Note that Student Profile Agent pulls data from data within V3 reports associated with that student, data in the Conversations tab of the student's profile, and Staff To-Do's, all from the last 12 months. The Student Profile Agent will only return answers with student data to which the user already has access through V3 reports. If you do not have access to the corresponding V3 report, the answer returned may not match the data in the Student Profile. Custom Attribute data is not currently accessible to the Student Profile Agent.

Sample Questions you can ask the agent:

  • Has "Student's name" been marked "at risk" at any point in time?
  • Has "student's name" ever scheduled an appointing with "this" as a service?
  • What is the students current GPA?
  • In appointment summaries as the student ever expressed interest in "x"?
  • Has the student ever received a communication about "Y"?

You may also add a To-Do about a student from Student Profile Agent. An example of this is shown below. 

Outcome

Users should now be able to interact with the AI Agent to get the information needed.
