Summary
This article has instructions for how to create or modify a Ticket Schedule which will automatically create a scheduled ticket based on the timing and other parameters you specify. You must first have access to a ticket template from which the scheduled ticket will be created.
Overview
Scheduled tickets can be configured for each Ticketing Application so that routine work items can have tickets automatically created. For example, an activity that only happens once a year, like updating a calendar, or monthly, like clearing out logs or maintenance
- This allows technicians to easily track common work items, such as routine maintenance activities.
- These tickets cannot be viewed until after they are created. However, ticket schedules can be viewed and modified as needed.
NOTE: There must be a ticket template already built in the ticketing app in order to create a scheduled ticket. See our article on TeamDynamix: Using Ticket Templates for more information.
