ET&S Client Services (Helpdesk, Desktop Support & Learning Space Technologies) would like to outline some of the work that is scheduled to be completed over the summer. Faculty, staff, students, and campus visitors may experience some spaces changing in preparation for the Fall 2026 Semester.

Classroom AV Upgrades & Maintenance
Four classrooms have been selected for AV upgrade/standardization. These new classrooms will comply with current fire and electrical code standards as well has be furnished with new AV Furniture and hardware improvements to accommodate ADA standards.

Our Learning Space Technologies team will also be performing our summer maintenance, including deep cleaning the equipment and replacing instructional signage in the classrooms.
Classroom Podium Computer Upgrades and Transition of Classroom Type Due to High-Age/Risk
ET&S Client Services collaborated with KSC, academic leadership, union leadership, and the Technology Advisory Committee on plans to mitigate the high-age/risk classoom computers in the classroom environment. As a result, plans are to upgrade 40 classroom podium computers and sunset 30 computers.
KSC Classroom Computer Upgrades
These classroom locations will retain a computer in the podium and will remain a Type II or Type III space.

The ET&S Client Services Team will be reaching out to faculty teaching in Type 1/Type 1A classrooms that do not have a USNH issued laptop to notify them they are eligible for a semester long loaner laptop. These communications will come via TeamDynamix ticket in August.
Software Requests for Computer Labs
To ensure your computer lab computers have your required software installed prior to the start of the Fall Semester, please provide a comprehensive list of software (both new and existing) that you plan to use for the 2026-2027 academic year. Please submit your software requests no later than Friday, June 5th.
Retirement of High-Age/Risk Computer Labs
