The Departmental Laptop Loaner Donation program provides an opportunity for departments at USNH to donate laptops that have reached the end of their lifecycle per USNH standards (5 years) which are being replaced but are still functional, to the student loaner pool.
These loaner laptops are distributed to students with a demonstrated need for assistance in obtaining a computer on a first-come, first-served basis. Students may fill out an application for a loaner laptop to be used for the length of the semester to ensure they have the tools needed to complete their coursework.
This form must be completed for any USNH laptops being donated to the student loaner pool. Donated laptops are USNH assets and need to be reassigned to this pool; please do not send USNH owned equipment through the student e-cycling program.
Laptops donated through this program will be wiped of all data; it is your responsibility to ensure your data is backed up prior to donation.
Laptop donations will be assessed to ensure devices are functional and meet minimum requirements for our student loaner laptops before being refreshed and repurposed into the program.
If you have multiple laptops to donate, please fill out the Excel template in the right-hand sidebar with the information for all the laptops and upload it with your request. If your laptop is damaged, please fill out the SEED form to send it through our e-cycling program for USNH owned equipment.
