Adobe Acrobat Sign: Getting Started

Summary

This article provides a starting place for using Adobe Acrobat Sign to collect e-signatures on electronic documents. All faculty and staff employees of USNH are eligible to use this service.  Adobe Acrobat Sign is not available for Alumni or Prior Students.

Adobe Acrobat Sign allows groups to create electronic documents and then collect e-signatures on the document(s). The platform keeps track of who signs and when, so it is best suited for legal documents that require this information. Signers receive an email with instructions and do not have to create an account to sign document(s).

Before you Begin

Save Old Documents or Agreements

Important – If you have previously created a personal account with Adobe Acrobat Sign using your UNH, KSC, PSU, or USNH campus email address and sent any agreements using that account, you will need to download those agreements/documents before being set up with a new enterprise account.

Task: Save old documents or agreements you might have had under a different Acrobat Sign account.

Instructions

Step 1 - In an incognito browser window, visit https://documents.adobe.com/public/login

Step 2 - Log into your personal account (password reset may be required)

Option A - Download important agreements

Step 3 - Navigate to the "Manage" tab then "Completed" and then

Step 4 - Download any important agreements to your computer or OneDrive or SharePoint

Option B - Link personal account profile to a non-campus email address

Step 5 - Open your profile in your personal Adobe Acrobat Sign account

Step 6 - Change the email address to a non-campus email address, so you have continued access to your documents.

Outcome

You have downloaded any important agreements or updated the profile on your personal Adobe Acrobat Sign account so that you do not lose access to your old content.

Important – You must perform one or both of these options before you receive access to a new Enterprise account, so you do not lose any documents from the former, personal account.
