In order to turn off an online or personal archive, you will want to move your data back to your inbox. This article details how to stop the automatic email archiving.

Task: To stop automatic email archiving for Outlook Windows Desktop App
Instructions
Step 1 - Right-click the folder that has an archive policy set on it
Step 2 - Select Properties
Step 3 - Go to the Policy tab
Step 4 - Choose Never
Step 5 - Move the emails you wish to keep back into inbox
Step 6 - Put in a ticket to turn the archive off (the folder will be deleted)

Step 1 - Right-click or control+click the folder that has an archive policy set on it
Step 2 - Select "Retention"
Step 3 - Select "Never Delete"
Step 4 - Move the emails you wish to keep back into your inbox
Step 5 - Put in a ticket to turn the archive off (the folder will be deleted)
