Summary
Learning Space Technologies has installed AirMedia in select campus classrooms and conference rooms to make presenting easy and flexible. AirMedia allows you to share content wirelessly from a laptop, smartphone, or tablet. This source type allows you to walk into the room and start presenting without plugging in cables.
Currently, there are two AirMedia connection options available across campus. In some spaces, you will connect by downloading the AirMedia application to your device. In most rooms, however, you can connect quickly using simple hot keys and no application download required.
To help you choose the best and fastest connection option for your room, the table below outlines which AirMedia version is installed and whether the space requires the launching of the application to connect or if it has the hot key quick connection ability.
AirMedia supports Windows and Mac laptops, as well as iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, allowing you to present PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PDF documents, along with images, videos, and other supported (non copyrighted) app content using full-screen mirroring.
