Instructions:
myCourses Canvas New Analytics is an enhanced course analytics tool. The new analytics tool is organized into two main areas, Course Grades and Weekly Online Activity, along with details of students’ grades, percent on-time for assignments, and last participation. Instructors can view their course data through an interactive chart or in a table format.
Course Grades enables the instructor to view:
- All assignments
- Due dates
- Average grades for all course data
- Ability to filter results and compare averages with a particular student or section

Weekly Online Activity enables instructors to view:
- Average number of page views and participation by week
- Expanded weekly views to show what pages were viewed and student participation.
- View which course resources the student view or not viewed. Send a message to students based on filter results.

Important note: in the New Analytics tool, all participation and page views are aggregated across all devices and the data is refreshed every 24 hrs at 12:01AM. Student submissions after that time will not be included in the analytics.
