Outlook: Creating a Calendar

Summary

This article details how to create a calendar in Microsoft 365 Online.

Task: To Create a Calendar.

Note: Creating calendars must be done in Microsoft 365 online, and not on desktop applications.

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Open your USNH Email and sign in if required. Click the calendar icon on the left-hand side of your screen to go to the calendar section.

Step 2 - In the Microsoft 365 Outlook Calendar, select the "Add calendar" button on the left.

Step 3 - Select "Create blank calendar" to create a blank calendar in your M365 Outlook email. 

Step 4 - Type a descriptive name for the new calendar and click "Save".

Outcome

Your new calendar has been created. Click on the calendar's name to view it, which will highlight its name and make its events visible on the main calendar pane.
