Kaltura - Finding Local Copies of Your Kaltura Capture Media on Your Hard Drive

Task: If you're using Kaltura Capture, the latest version of the Kaltura recording software, these are the instructions for locating the local storage on your hard drive.

Instructions:

To navigate to the Kaltura Capture Application's Settings folder

Windows
  1. Right-click on the Kaltura Capture icon on the desktop.
  2. Right-click on the icon and select Properties.
  3. Open file location and go up one folder to the Capture folder, or simply go to: 
  • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Kaltura\Capture\
Mac
  1. Go to the Finder.
  2. From the Go menu, select Go to Folder.
  3. In the form, enter ~/Library/Preferences/Kaltura/Capture/
  4. Click Go.
  5. Or Go to: /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Kaltura/Capture/
  6. The following folders are included in the Capture Directory:
  7. Setup -- includes the KalturaCapture executables.
  8. Logs -- includes the application and UploaderService logs.
  9. Recordings -- includes all local copies of your recordings.
  10. Settings -- includes the application's settings.
