Connecting to Open Guest Wireless

Summary

This article provides instructions for connecting to USNH Open Guest Wireless. 

 

How-To

Guests or any individual without USNH credentials will log into the wireless on the respective campus Open network, KSC-Open, PSU-Open, or UNH-Open.

 

 

Instructions

Step 1 - To connect, select the WiFi symbol in your system tray at the bottom right of your screen.

Step 2 - A list of available networks will show up.  Select the Open network and click “Connect”. 

Step 3 - A campus specific registration screen will display. Please review the USNH Online Policy Manual prior to signing in.

Step 4 - As a guest, click the link to sign in using your Facebook, Google or LinkedIn account.  Alternatively, to register with your personal email address, click where it says "No account? Click here."

Note:  If you are not redirected to the campus registration page, enter a random website you haven’t visited before (cnn.com, nascar.com, etc.) and you will be redirected. Certain browsers may have security warnings, accept the risk and proceed to the website until you get redirected.

 

Step 5 - Once the registration is complete you will receive something similar to the following message:

 

Outcome

Your Windows laptop is now connected to USNH Open Guess Wireless Network.

 

 

Instructions

Step 1 - At the top right of your screen click on the WiFi symbol.

Step 2 - In the menu that drops down you should see available wireless networks.  Select the "Open" campus network.

Step 3 - Then follow the instructions as listed above for Windows PCs.

 

Outcome

Your MAC is now connected to USNH Open Guess Wireless Network.

 

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Go to settings.

Step 2 - Click on WiFi and select the "Open” campus network.

Step 3 - If you are not automatically prompted, open a web browser and go here for UNH, here for KSC, and here for PSU.  Follow the onscreen instructions to register and connect. 

 

Outcome

Your Mobile device is now connected to USNH Open Guess Wireless Network.
