Summary
What is InfoBurst?
InfoBurst is a business intelligence tool used to schedule and deliver reports from BusinessObjects (WebIntelligence) to destinations like Tableau or SharePoint where users access and consume reports and data.
If you are a current WebI user or Tableau developer and find you need to have the ability to schedule reports, you can request an InfoBurst account at https://td.usnh.edu/TDClient/60/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=574. If you do not have access to WebI or are not a Tableau Developer, you must request access to those tools before requesting an InfoBurst account.

Instructions
First time set-up
When you log in to InfoBurst for the first time, you will need to add credentials for the platforms you use when scheduling reports. The platforms we support are WebIntelligence (WebI), Tableau Server, and SharePoint.
- Log in to InfoBurst by navigating to https://infoburst.unh.edu/infoburst-ui in a web browser using your USNH issued computer.
Your username will authenticate automatically, this welcome message will flash on the screen.
- NOTE: When you Bookmark the login page, you will need to edit the bookmark to ensure that the bookmarked URL matches the one provided above. Enter in platform credentials. Follow instructions in Entering User Platform Credentials.
Process for scheduling reports
In order to schedule reports with InfoBurst, there is a general process to follow:
- Add the report you want to schedule to InfoBurst. Follow the instructions in Adding a WebI Document to the InfoBurst Environment.
- Create a Burst that contains the report(s) you want to schedule. Follow instructions in Creating a Burst.
- Create a schedule that contains the burst(s) you would like to run on a regular basis. Follow instructions in Creating a Schedule.
