Installing Applications via Self-Service in Jamf
Task: To Install Applications via Self-Service in Jamf
Self-Service is an application that curates different software products that is made available on University managed Macs to make it easier to install applications.
Step 1 - To open Self-Service, click on the icon for it on the Dock at the bottom of the desktop. The icon will look like the following:
Step 2 - After opening Self-Service, a list of software and utilities will appear.
Step 3 - Click "Install" under an application to install that application. A circle will appear that will show the application installing, and it will say "Installed" when the application is completed installing.
Outcome
You have successfully installed an application from Self-Service.
