Installing Applications via Self-Service in Jamf

Self Service is an application that curates different software products that is made available on University managed Macs to make it easier to install applications.  

1.  To open Self Service, click on the icon for it on the Dock at the bottom of the desktop.  The icon will look like the following:

 

2. After opening Self Service, a list of software and utilities will appear.

3.  Click "Install" under an application to install that application.  A circle will appear that will show the application installing, and it will say "installed" when the application is completed installing.  

4.  You have successfully installed an application from Self Service.
