Summary
This article is a place to collect and share resources related to WCAG 2.1 and other Web Accessibility concerns. Please contribute if you have a resource worth sharing or send Katie a ticket with what you want to have added if you aren't able to do it yourself.
This is prompted in part by the January 20, 2026 letter on Digital Document Accessibility from Provost Jeannette Riley.

Appendix
Background
In Jan. 2026, Katie submitted TDx Ticket #967657 - WCAG 2.1 compliance testing to WMD looking for guidance. They replied [bold added by me (kde)]:
We'll check to see what automated tool might be available for the KB and get back to you with some suggestions. In the meantime, our team often uses the https://wave.webaim.org/ (WebAim) or https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/axe-devtools-web-accessib/lhdoppojpmngadmnindnejefpokejbdd?hl=en-US (axe DevTools) Chrome browser extensions to check individual pages for issues.
I discussed this with the team, and USNH does not currently have any automated tools for checking web accessibility. The UNH Civil Rights and Equity Office provides resources and information about web accessibility on this Sharepoint site, which we've found to be the best resource for web editors: https://universitysystemnh.sharepoint.com/sites/UNHWebContentCreators [also linked above (kde)]
