Understanding Microsoft Education LTI
Microsoft Education has officially launched the public preview of its new Microsoft 365 LTI tool, streamlining how faculty interact with Microsoft tools inside Canvas. This update replaces the legacy Teams Meetings and Teams Classes LTI tools, which will be retired. USNH will be replacing it with the new unified Microsoft 365 LTI tool. The new Microsoft Education LTI should include any of your previously included Microsoft items (Meetings and/or Teams).
The new Microsoft 365 LTI brings together popular education tools — Teams and Teams Meetings — into a single integration.

The Teams app helps you and your students navigate between Canvas and Teams.
Users can access the course team right through the Microsoft Education dashboard for the course.
