Task: This article highlights how a student can access their Student Experiences of Learning using the survey link within myCourses.
Students will receive an automated email notification on the start date of the survey period and reminders throughout. There are multiple ways to access surveys. Students will be able to access the Student Experiences of Learning from Blue link through email, course menu within myCourses and/or a mobile device.
Instructions:
NOTE: Low Enrollment courses, (less than 6 students) - students in the course will not receive an invite to survey the course. If they attempt to access Blue Evaluation from the course, they will receive a message that "No SEL survey tasks due at this time." The instructor may elect to provide a paper form, qualtrics survey or another form if they choose to have the low enrollment course surveyed.
NOTE: If multiple instructors are associated with a course, you will see multiple instructor names with the same question blocks below them. Please answer the questions below the instructor who taught your section and disregard the other instructors.
Using Blue link through email
- Click on link found in email (or directly in a web browser https://unh.bluera.com/unh)
- Log in with USNH username and password
- Choose the survey you wish to complete
- Fill in details
- Save
Using Blue in course menu
IMPORTANT: For the Canvas menu link to work correctly, you will need to ensure you are accessing Canvas from the following URL: mycourses.unh.edu
When a survey opens there will be a prompt after logging into myCourses. Access to surveys can be made here or the dismiss/remind me later buttons can be checked. NOTE: location of menu items may change from course to course.
If the dismiss button is checked the surveys can be accessed within the myCourses menu
From the Blue SEL Survey course menu, students will be able begin an survey for any course that they are enrolled.
- Students will see 2 tabs:
- This Course will provide a link and access to this course's survey.
- All Courses will show surveys for all courses the student is enrolled in, assuming the courses met the criteria to be surveyed
- The survey will automatically launch in a new browser tab or window.
- Students can access these links anytime during the Course Feedback period.
- Once an survey has been submitted, it will no longer display on the Blue SEL Survey screen in myCourses.
