This article provides instructions for embedding videos in the TeamDynamix (TDx) Knowledge Base (KB) Editor. This article is intended for KB editors.
How-To
Embedding YouTube Videos
Task: To embed YouTube Videos into Knowledge Base articles
Instructions
Step 1 - Select the "Embed YouTube Video" from the top right of the middle toolbar.

Step 2 - Copy the URL of the desired YouTube Video from your web browser, and paste it into the "Paste YouTube Video URL" field.
Step 3 - Modify the player settings depending on your needs. (e.g., change the video's start time)

Step 4 - Click "OK".
Step 5 - Continue editing your article as usual.
Outcome
You should be able to embed a YouTube Video into a knowledge Base article.

Embedding Kaltura Videos
Task: To embed Kaltura Video into Knowledge Base articles
Instructions
Step 1 - Select "Share" under the Kaltura Video.
Step 2 - Select "Embed". The embed code should be automatically highlighted.
Step 3 - Modify the embedding settings depending on your needs. (e.g., change the video's start time)
Step 4 - Copy all the code in the text box. The embed code block should begin with <iframe> and end with </iframe>.

Step 5 - In your KB Article Editor, select "Source" from the top left of the editor's toolbar.

Step 6 - Locate the spot where you want the video to appear.
Note: The article’s source code is often difficult to read. To help locate the right spot, it’s recommended to use Ctrl+F (or Command+F on Mac) to search for nearby content.
Step 7 - Paste the embed code at a place you like.

Step 8 - Exit the Source Code Editor by clicking the "Source" at the top left again.
Step 9 - Continue editing your article as usual.
Outcome
You should be able to embed a Kaltura Video into a knowledge Base article.

Embedding Vimeo Videos
Task: To embed Vimeo Videos into Knowledge Base articles
Instructions
Step 1 - Select the " Share" icon under the Vimeo Video.

Step 2 - Select the "Embed" tab.
Step 3 - Select "Customize" to modify the embedding settings depending on your needs. (e.g., change the player's size)
Step 4 - Select "</> Copy embed code" or copy all the code in the text box.
Step 5 - In your KB Article Editor, select "Source" from the top left of the editor's toolbar.

Step 6 - Locate the spot where you want the video to appear.
Note: The article’s source code is often difficult to read. To help locate the right spot, it’s recommended to use Ctrl+F (or Command+F on Mac) to search for nearby content.
Step 7 - Paste the embed code at a place you like.

Step 8 - Exit the Source Code Editor by clicking the "Source" at the top left again.
Step 9 - Continue editing your article as usual.
