This article describes how to add your USNH email account to either the Outlook app or the built-in iOS Mail app on an iOS mobile device.

Task: To add your USNH email account to the iOS Outlook application.
Notes
- If you are re-adding an USNH email account, you must remove the existing account prior to starting this procedure.
- The Outlook app is available for free in the iOS App Store
Instructions
Step 1 - Open Outlook for iOS.
Step 2 - Tap Get Started or open Settings, go to Add Mail Account, and then Add Email Account.
Step 3 - For your email address, enter your username@usnh.edu (fully qualified username, example: jbd2519@usnh.edu).
Step 4 - Tap Add Account.
Step 5 - On the USNH Enter Password page, enter your password and tap Sign In.
- You may be prompted to open the Authenticator App - click Allow.
Step 6 - Approve the login attempt with your preferred method of multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Note: If a server address is needed, it is outlook.office365.com
Outcome
Your USNH email account displays in the iOS Outlook application.

Instructions
Step 1 - Open Settings, scroll down and tap Mail > Accounts.
Step 2 - Tap Add Account.
Step 3 - Select Exchange or Microsoft Exchange.
Step 4 - For your email address, enter your username@usnh.edu (fully qualified username, example: jbd2519@usnh.edu), then tap Next.
- Note: If a server address is needed, it is outlook.office365.com.
Step 5 - If you see a pop-up asking about signing into your Exchange account using Microsoft choose "Sign In."
Step 6 - If you see a pop-up asking about also signing into Safari, choose "Only Sign In to 'Settings'."
Step 7 - On the USNH Enter Password page, enter your password and tap Sign In.
Step 8 - Approve the login attempt with your preferred method of multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Step 9 - The mail application may request certain permissions. Tap Accept.
Step 10 - Choose the services you want to sync with your iOS device and tap Save.
Outcome
Your USNH email account displays in the built-in iOS mail application.
