Summary
This article provides instructions on how to access and modify your settings in Microsoft Teams.
How-To
Task: To Access the Microsoft Teams Settings Window.
Step 1: Select the ellipses (…) from the top of the Teams window next to the user profile picture.
Step 2: Click on Settings.
Note: Some pages in settings require you to scroll down to view more options.
Outcome
The Settings window displays with a list of categories in tabs along the left-hand side. See below for more information about each category.
I. General
The General tab contains settings for:

Modifying the appearance, and animations of the application. (including High contrast)

Deciding how the application will function on your computer. (including auto-start)

Changing the language of the application (including spell check).

Scheduling out of office hours.
Note: Many of these changes will require that the application be restarted.
II. Accounts
The accounts tab is used to add an alternate account or sign out of the current account.
III. Privacy
The Privacy tab contains settings for:

Managing Do not disturb and the blocked contacts list.

The option to un-mute your microphone with ctrl + spacebar.

Optional connected experiences that enhance the chat (click the Learn more link for more information).
IV. Notifications
The Notifications tab contains settings for the notifications you will receive, and where these notifications will appear. (Including missed activity emails).
