A3 - Can I record my meetings in Teams? 

  • Any Teams meeting or call can be recorded for future viewing. The recording captures audio, video, and screen sharing activity, and you can share it securely across your organization. The recording is processed and saved to SharePoint if it was a channel meeting or OneDrive if it was any other type of meeting.

A7 - Does Teams have an option for very large meetings like a Zoom webinar?

  • Yes. Teams also has webinars. Like in Zoom, Teams webinars are more structured. Participants have clear roles: one or several experts (presenters) share their ideas and present to an audience (attendees). By default, audio and video permissions are turned off for attendees.

A9 - What Microsoft support is available for people with disabilities?

  • Microsoft offers the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk for technical assistance. The Disability Answer Desk support team is trained in using many popular assistive technologies and can offer assistance in English, Spanish, French, and American Sign Language.

  • You may have up to 1000 people in the same meeting.

A14 - Where can I find training on Teams Meetings? 

  • You can find training on the AT Training Calendar. If you want to know Microsoft Teams better there is a great App called Training Assistant you can find under Apps in Microsoft Teams (see below) Lastly we'll be adding recorded sessions to our Documentation and Training channel
