PaperCut Print: Using Xerox Printer/Copier/Scanners (MFD)

Summary

A Xerox Multi-Function Printer/Copier/Scanner is a single machine that can print, copy, and scan documents. This article has detailed instructions on using the features of a Xerox Multi-Function Printer/Copier/Scanner.

For instructions on how to set up your ID card at Xerox printer/copiers, see our article on Setting up ID Card for Xerox Multi-Function (MFD) Printer/Copiers.

DO NOT punch a hole in your RFID capable ID card. This will disable the ability to use the card for tap access. Instead use a badge holder if you want to hang the card on a lanyard or retractable key chain.

How-To

Task: To Release print jobs at a printer/copier

Instructions

There are two methods for releasing print jobs from Xerox Multi-Function (MFD) Printer/Copiers: via a web browser or directly from the Printer/Copier itself.

More detailed instructions can be found at:

Outcome

Your document(s) will be printed at the printer/copier you selected.

Note: Releasing print jobs via web browser may cause your document to print before you can make it to the printer. If you want to be at the printer when your document is printing, use your ID card or log in to release the job directly on the printer/copier.
