This article describes how to set scheduling policies on a Shared Bookings page.
Scheduling policies control how far in advance customers can book, how much notice you require, and other rules that apply to your Shared booking page.

Task: Set scheduling policies on a Shared Bookings page.
Instructions
Step 1 - Go to book.ms or open the Bookings app in Outlook or Teams
Step 2 - Select your Shared booking page
Step 3 - In the left navigation, choose Booking page > Default scheduling policy
Step 4 - Choose the desired Settings and then Save at the top
Policy Options Explained

| Time increments |
Smallest slot size customers can pick (e.g., 15, 30, 60 min). |
| Minimum lead time |
How far in advance a booking must be made (e.g., 1 hour, 1 day). |
| Maximum days in advance |
How far ahead customers can book (e.g., 30 days, 90 days). |
| Email notifications |
Send confirmation and reminder emails to customers and staff. |
| Allow customers to manage |
Let customers reschedule or cancel their own bookings. |
| Buffer time |
Extra time before/after appointments (can also be set per service). |
