PaperCut Print: Resources

Summary

This article points to articles and resources for how to use PaperCut printer/copier/scanners (MFDs) deployed at USNH campuses.  This article is for USNH faculty and staff.

• Send print jobs to any PaperCut-enabled printer on campus using "follow-me" printer queues on USNH-managed devices or mobility print on personal devices.
• Release print jobs to print using the posted QR code, the printer control panel (tap-to-release), or a web browser.
• Use Xerox multi-function device (MFD/MFP) printer/copier/scanners to copy and scan as well as print.

Sending Print Jobs to Print Queues

• Printing from a Managed Computer - MacOS - instructions for printing to PaperCut Xerox printers from a USNH-managed MacOS computer using "follow-me" printer queues
• Printing from a Managed Computer - Windows - instructions for printing to PaperCut Xerox printers from a USNH-managed Windows computer using "follow-me" printer queues
• Printing from a Personal Device - Mobility Print - instructions for using PaperCut's Mobility Print on personal device(s) to print to PaperCut printers from that device. Also for certain UNH-managed Mac computers where the user logs in with Firstname/Lastname instead of USNH username.
• Printing from a Linux Computer - instructions for printing to PaperCut Xerox printers from a Linux computer using the employee "follow-me" printer queues
• People on a managed computer at UNH or the USNH System Office also have the option to manually add PaperCut direct print queues to a managed computer. You might want to do this if you want to use features which are not generally available on the UNH follow-me queues, such as selecting non-standard paper or paper trays. Releasing Print Jobs to Print

• Releasing Print Jobs via QR Code - use your mobile device to scan the QR code posted at the printer and select which print job(s) to release and print
• Releasing Print Jobs via Xerox Tap-to-Release - use tap-to-release and the printer control panel to select which print job(s) to release and print
• Releasing Print Jobs via Web Browser - use a web browser to select which print job(s) to release and print to the printer you specify (available at PSU, UNH, & USNH System Office)
