Office 365: Activating/Re-activating ProPlus

This article outlines some issues with activating Office 365 Pro Plus and how to fix these issues.

If your installation of Office 365 ProPlus is no longer activated, please follow the steps below to re-activate it.

  • When prompted, click Sign In
  • Click Continue
  • At the Activate Office window enter your username@usnh.edu, for example: jbd2519@usnh.edu
  • Click Next
  • If you receive the message, "This Computer has been added to your account", press OK and skip the remaining steps.
  • If you are taken to a USNH branded login page
    • Enter your USNH Password at the Sign-in Page and verify your identity if required.
  • Your Office product will now be Activated

Additional troubleshooting steps:

  • Verify that your account is still active in Office 365 by signing in to https://portal.office.com.  If your account is no longer active, you are no longer entitled to an Office 365 subscription through your USNH account.
  • If you are a VPN user, try the activation steps above while DISCONNECTED from the VPN.
  • Repair your Office 365 ProPlus application.​​​​​​​
