EAB Navigate360: Progress Report Reasons by Institution

Task: This article will provide information regarding what Alert/Referral Reasons Required for students with below average performance.  Faculty will be presented in the Progress Report survey, as well as when to use them and the desired outcomes.

 

Instructions:

The following bullet points are reasons a student may be marked as "Below Average" for a course:

UNH:

Alert Reasons

  • Grade Concern (please include grade in grade column)
  • Lack of Engagement in Course (attendance, participation, etc.)
  • Missing Assignment(s)
  • Student Currently Failing Course

Referral Reasons

  • Referral: Athletic Academic Support
  • Referral: Basic Needs (Housing, Food, Money, IT)
  • Referral: CFAR
  • Referral: CaPS (UAC use ONLY)
  • Referral: Connors Writing Center
  • Referral: Hamel Center for Undergraduate Research
  • Referral: Math Center
  • Referral: McNair Scholars Program (Durham)
  • Referral: Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS)
  • Referral: Office of National Fellowships
  • Referral: Pre-Professional Health Advising
  • Referral: Veterans and Military Support

 

PSU:

  •  Attendance or Punctuality concerns
  •  Below Average Quality of Work
  •  Missing and/or Late Assignments
  •  Not Prepared or Engaged during class

 

KSC:

  •  Academic Cares
  •  Attendance or Punctuality concerns
  •  Non-Academic Concerns - please provide comments
  •  Performance below average due to incomplete or missing work
  •  Student is currently failing class
  •  Student is not prepared/engaged during class
  •  Student needs Academic Support

Outcome:

Users should be able to have knowledge of Alert/Referral Reasons Required for students with below average performance.
