USNH - Setting up your Account in Mac Mail

Summary

This article details how to connect your USNH email account to Mac Mail and how to update your email address display for MacOS users.

Note: We recommend you use the Microsoft Outlook Desktop App for MacOS or Microsoft Outlook on the Web to access your USNH email rather than Mac Mail.

Instructions

Step 1 - Open the Mail application

Step 2 - In the top left ribbon select Mail and then Accounts or Add Account

Step 3 - Select Exchange

Step 4 - Enter your name and username@usnh.edu as the email address

 

Step 5 - Click sign in and sign in again

Step 6 - On the USNH Password page, enter your password.

• If prompted for multi-factor authentication, verify your identity using one of your MFA methods.

Step 7 - Choose the apps you would like to sync and click done

 

Outcome

You have successfully connected your USNH email account to Mac Mail.

Instructions

Step 1 - Click Mail in the top right corner, then Preferences or Settings

Step 2 - Select Accounts and then your USNH Exchange Account

Step 3 - Under the Email Address: field select Edit Email Addresses

Step 4 - Click the plus (+)

Step 5 - Fill in your name and email address as first.last@<campus>.edu, like John.Doe@unh.edu, or whatever your campus email address is.

Step 6 - Hit OK

 

Outcome

You have successfully updated your email address display in Mac Mail.
