Outlook: Adding a Shared Mailbox to your Outlook Mobile Application

If you use the Outlook Mobile application, you can add a shared mailbox you have permissions to access.

 

Task: To add a shared mailbox to Outlook on a mobile device.

 

Instructions

Step 1 - Open Outlook for iOS or Android.

Step 2 - Tap the Settings icon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3 - Tap Add Mail Account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4 - Tap Add Shared Mailbox.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5 - Enter the name of the shared mailbox using the virtual keyboard, tap Add Shared Mailbox.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Outcome

The shared mailbox displays in your account list in Outlook on your mobile device.

Instructions

Step 1 - Navigate to Settings Accounts.

Step 2 - Tap on the shared mailbox.

Step 3 - Tap Delete Account.

 

Outcome

The shared mailbox is no longer displayed in your account list in Outlook on your mobile device.
